I was really hoping Wigan would stay up, they'd have really struggled next season in the Premier League with Europe to contend with, in fact I think they will struggle in the Championship. I'll take that McMananamamanam.

If Martinez stays and they weren't in Europe, I'd fancy them to get straight back up, but even if he goes, then they are going to attract a quality manager. They have got some good players there and with Dave Whelan, they have a Tan-like figure who underpins the whole set-up.
However, as you say, Europe is going to be a distraction in what is going to be a long, long season for the squad.....
