I agree.
A lot of people are suggesting he'll only be used as cover, but what if the first choice right-back has a long term injury.
Connolly would be far better cover, unless Malky has him pencilled as our first choice no2 rather than strengthening the position.......

In my opinion, Connolly will also struggle at right-back in the Premier League. No pace unfortunately.
In recent years young full-backs from the lower leagues seem to have managed pretty well in the Premier League. Lowton at Aston Villa and Clyne at Southampton are two who have settled in well in their first season at this level. Both have pace to burn however.
I wonder if MM will go down this route. In the Championship, Kieran Tripper of Burnley and possibly John Brayford of Derby would be two he might consider

SuperKev has struggled in parts this year... He may get mauled next year... No offence to Kev but I'd be furious if we lose Whitts and keep Kev....
