Getting some attention on ccmb

First topic message reminder :

Apparently we are the cancer of the club.

Someone kindly pointed out that the soul crew might be slightly more damaging than a small forum who want to get on with supporting the club.

It really does get on my nerves when some fans think they can dictate what makes someone a fan.

Sadly some can't seem to understand that for many, football is just a hobby and not a matter of life and death.

Kind of, yeah.

I only caught the first half of it but he went off on one about this forum calling us a "cancer of the club". In fairness, most other CCMBers criticised him for it which made Baker more indignant. The Colonel then stepped in too and sent him over the edge and onto an odd rant about old men conversing with young men on the internet, or something It got very stupid but then Colin's Reversible Hat said something great, which I missed but generally Baker made himself look a bit of an immature and vindictive tit.

Colin mentioned the get together last weekend and that such a thing wouldn't be possible with CCMB, as the members were more interested in bitter in fighting and the like......

As Arkay says, there was good support in the main from the CCMBers, but there are other nasty characters there besides Baker, looking to make a name for themselves with petty, malicious and uninformed comment.

There was one from a poster who will remain unamed, other than to say that Anthony Hopkins played the character in a couple of films.......the comment was something about "sad old men posting on the internet......"

yeah i seen that comment that lecter posted.... pot kettle and black springs to mind
