The Smith substitution was a strange one - felt like a missed opportunity to bring on either Mason, Velikonja or Whittingham

I think we want to get Udinese reserves promoted, because the chances are next season they won't be able to field an entire side of loanees, so they may find life in the prem more difficult than most....which is in our interest in finding at least three clubs who perform less ably than we do next season.

I also thought it was a very strange change. Seemed like the perfect opportunity to me to try Whitts out wide left, which might be the only position he's going to find a place next season other than as a late replacement for one of the more capable midfielders. I guess it might have been Smith's swansong (other than possibly next week). Kim was unbelievable (again) and could well take the Prem by storm - if we can keep hold of him.

Funny enough, I actually thought the complete opposite!

I think if Watford go up a few of the loan signings will become permanent, as well as some new faces coming in. Hull will be weaker in the PL IMO

I would rather see Watford go up. Not so far to go. Not a HULL of a journey.
