my guess hes had a falling out with malky or something along them lines... apparently according to ankles we will find out soon cos he knows why he aint played but in reality he knows s**t,
Was one of three things according to the rumours
A) He didn't learn English as quick as Malky wanted
B) He talked to the press in Slovenia about being frustrated
C) He came back late from international duty

I hope this means he has a future here next season and it is not just Malky putting him in the shop window for two games to remind other clubs he is still around and fit.

I think he has a huge point to prive and what better way to stick two fingers up to malky and take your chance and score... but saying that he could have a

The pressure on him to do well is immense. The odds must be heavily against him making a positive impression which is a shame.

He's only played youth football for over a year now, it might take him a while to actually adjust to the more sophisticated game at this level. More than two games, potentially.
Basically, it's like what happens the first match after you turn the difficulty up in FIFA. You keep trying what has worked so well before and simply get more and more frustrated it isn't working anymore

I still think bringing him into it later in the match would maybe help him more as the Bolton defenders would be tiring. But then what do I know, I'm not Malky!

But he was SOOOOOOO close until McNaughton's injury scuppered his cameo appearance.
It was brilliant... He was standing on the touchline, jersey on ready, thinking this is my moment to shine. The forth official about to lift the numbers board. Then McNaughton falls, cracks his knees and had to go off as the last remaining sub. I could almost see Velcro's sad face from the Ninian stand as he sat back down again. Poor sod.

Not sure why Smith went on ahead of him to be honest. Plus he then missed a sitter. Full game against Hull maybe?

Smith seemed a pointless substitution. Nothing to be learned there and he made as much impact as I expected - none.
