Been a bit quiet lately... Again....

First topic message reminder :

This season has been unusual for the Redbluebird squad... We had any number of posters on loan in February but none made the cut apart from a couple of up and coming youngsters... Now we're back on limited squad rotation with a couple of 'mature' senior signings to bring a bit of depth and solidity around the posts...

I think many posters have been temporarily rested by their Guv'nors... Or perhaps their knees have gone... Whatever it's a bit quiet again...





This is what happens when I'm left out to play on my own...

There is a big chance and I mean LAAAARRRRGGGGGE chance that Tan will do something that some people... and I mean SOME people will not like... Not like at all... Whilst some people... will go 'oh OK'... and hopefully the team will win enough points to go to the league known only as the 'Prem'....

I'm no good at thinking of ideas for this type of thing. But what if we all agree to tweet the link for the forum and Retweet all of each others tweets in a 5 minute flurry at a peak twitter time. That would mean that many of our followers would see the same link a few times and might be more likely to have a little look.

When a link is tweeted the number of viewers always increases, so if lots of us do it people may see the number of people online and think 'yeh, this looks like a popular place' and sign up.

Ahh, I dunno.

Further to my last post, I just did a little experiment. I posted the link on twitter and kept my eye on the 'number of people online' and within 3 minutes it crept up from 5 to 22. Ok so no-one joined up, but if all of us did it at the same time when twitter is busier and we have more stuff actually going on in the forum (say a Friday evening when there are music, film and football threads), we might get a few new users.

It would have to be very organised and we would need 10 or more to do it, but it could work. Worth a go?? Anyone??
