Fixture congestion hell - with no compromise

The Guernsey FC team was only formed a couple of years ago as part of the island’s football development programme.
They subsidise the costs for the other teams travelling to them for their home fixtures (because of that pesky English Channel).
Their crowds are around 1,000 per game in comparison to less than 150 for their league rivals.
Good luck to them.

Although, Guernsey do take the tea and biscuits on that front

Gateshead is one of the reasons Newport has a fixture congestion problem - the away game there has been postponed four times already because they have a problem with their pitch. It's now been switched to deepest Lincolnshire, miles away from either town:
