Fantastic finish to the game and great celebrations for the County fans. 25 years out of the league and their centenary season - it really is a great story.

I feel sorry for Wrexham missing out again. Hopefully they can make it next season and Newport can survive and we can have two Welsh teams playing in the football league.*

* 3 if Swansea get relegated next season too.

Oh Christ, I live in Newport but I support a premier league team.

This makes me a plastic doesn't it?

I'd have edged towards Wrexham too but i am happy to see either of them up. I know a lot of Newport fans hate City but i feel no animosity towards them myself and am just glad to see another Welsh team in the league.

Really hope that Wrexham make it next season though after coming so close 3 year on the trot.

P.S - Come on Merthyr!!

Sorry for Wrexham, but really pleased for Newport. To have come back from extinction in the way they have, having to play their games at Moreton in Marsh at first down in the Hellenic League, absolutely fantastic. Hope Wrexham make it next year.
