A 2-1 away win for City today. Scorers were Etien Velikonja (of course) and Luke Coulson.

Updates say Healey was outstanding - he's got a long throw as well!
Team was - Parrish;
Coulson, Oshilada, Yorwerth, Owen;
Harris, Kiss, McPhail, Ralls;
Healey, Velikonja.

Thanks Toast Boy, I do enjoy the DSquad updates.
Gives me a little hope for the future and shows how far the club has come inthe last couple of years.

I can give an update too. The women's team are doing well too (different from Cardiff City Ladies they broke off under Hammam so had to start again) I would know as I watched them beat my team 9-1 on Sunday. Sad times

Velikonja has more goals than he has games in the development doesn't he? I know the standard of play is different but you cant deny he has an eye for goal. What else can he do to prove he deserves a shot?

Not far from the big times then Kate? Though, perhaps your defense needs a bit of work

Hope we guarantee auto promotion sooner than later then maybe Malky will give Velikonja a start in the remaining games.

We can only hope that we get promoted and Velinkonja becomes our secret weapon in the the Premier next season. My worry is that after a season of playing reserve football Velikonja might be so pi**ed off that he won't want to hang around another season anyway.

If he was watching the first team tonight he'll be even more puzzled about not getting more game time, but then Mason could be equally miffed as a goalscorer who hardly gets on the pitch. Meanwhile we have Helguson, Bellamy and Smith partnering Campbell, none of whom are lethal (or even average) in the box.
