Anyone remember when we had a player who could do that sort of thing? Dick Whittleyourbum or something, he was called.

Cracker was it? I reckon he would sign for us one day - maybe in ten years time. 'Do a Bellamy'

90th minute, 30 yards from goal, attack going nowhere, goal keeper having a blinder. What do you do? Why, simply step half a yard to your left and blast the ball into the net with enough curl for it to hit the inside of the side netting despite you shooting from within the width of the D but further out.

Come on welsh public - is he in the same class as
Ronaldo and Messi? My first reaction is to burst out laughing, but the more I think about it the harder in find it to dispute it.

Can't see it myself. He has no real connection to Cardiff City, unlike Bellamy.

Bale is becoming a class player and IMO he will join Man U or Man City in the summer.

He is on less a week than Walcott atm.

Well in fairness he is a Cardiff boy. He went to Whitchurch High and was in some classes with Sam Warburton and he is the nephew of Chris Pike
