RIP

Death Wish was a classic film in its day.

I'm sure Trash will raise a glass to a fellow gastronaut.

I sought of met him in a hotel in Ravello, Italy called the Caruso... he stared intently at me and I thought he had dementia as he was quite a shambolic figure.... then I started reading his food reviews in the Times... cantakerous old so and so but said to see him go

I saw him in The Wolseley once; seemed a right miserable b'stard TBF but I think that's a feature of his age group.
His musings in the Sunday Times were always worth a read.

Does this mean Jenny Seagrove is available? (or had they already finished?)

Seems like only yesterday when they were going out. Then again, everything seems like yesterday - except yesterday which I can't remember at all.

If I remember rightly, he played 'hide the saveloy' with some bint that used to be in Grange Hill.

Correct - Simone Hyams, shortly after she appeared in his 1993 film 'Dirty Weekend'. Say no more.
