Looks like Hudson's first big mistake in a long time?

Harsh to put both on him Rhys. Collective mistakes all round. Bellers sloppy pass for the second and they were always chasing back after that.

Malky all round.......certainly not the best use of a strong squad with two home games in quick succession.....

Taylor perhaps could have cut the pass out. Harsh to blame any one individual though

I fail to understand if I'm perfectly honest how Malky could be to blame. He put out Campbell and Bellamy, our best two forwards by a mile. He deployed Whittingham (our marquee player) and Gunnarrson (who has scored in virtually every game he has played recently). The wing combination of Noone and Smith also was a first team choice, both players capable of putting in awesome performances. And our back four have parked the bus 90% of the games we've played as of date.

Potentially Noone aside, that was our first team 11. They deployed chance after chance and looked like scoring again and again, and in reality were just unlucky not to score. Malky did everything he could of done, playing his strongest team and replacing those players that under performed. Aside from taking the pitch himself and bicycle kicking one in from the half way line, he could of done no more.

Fair point red though I wonder if he could used his third sub.. Maybe Kim for Smith....

Though I think we all thought that the goal was coming... So Malky can't be blamed really.

I thought Hudson lost his mark too easily for the first goal, hence the thread. Anyone else agree or am I alone on that.

I haven't had the benefit of seeing the first goal again on TV, but at the time it looked very soft. The alarm bells should have been ringing when Marshall made a superb save from Ulloa earlier in the first half.

Looking back on the game, City had a lot of chances, albeit not all of them particularly clear-cut. Noone, Belllamy, Whittingham and Campbell all went close in the first-half.
After half-time, Kuszczak made a great save from a Conway shot that seemed to be heading for the top corner. Then as City flooded forward, Campbell had 2 efforts that he would possibly convert on another day.

Was it 3 or 4 times that the ball hit the post/crossbar?

Glass half-full and all that.

I thought that Marshall could've come for the ball for the first goal tbh. If he'd been ready, on his toes, he'd have got it easily.

hudds for the first, maybe for the second, but there was another city player closer. unsure who. one thing though the free kick bellers won on the side edge of the area should have been a penalty as it was inside.
