Not much content to that article. Doesn't really say why they fell out particularly, or even what Malky supposedly did.
Seems like they've looked for angle that wasn't really expanded on, or even there in the first place.

All I heard was a crying baby who had his toys stolen
'...but that manager took everything away from me...' It just sounds like a baby crying

Yeah. Probably should have read it before hand. Although it does provide a bit of insight - if you fall out of favour with Malky, that is pretty much it and might as well move on. We've seen it with a few players...perhaps a darker side to malky - I can imagine that he can be quite intimidating behind closed doors.

Gerrard wasn't exactly first name down on Dave Jones' team sheet and he signed the plodding galoot. Tony G is where he belongs - struggling to stay in the Championship. (watch him score tomorrow)

It happened with Kienan too, which was a shame because I rated him as much better than Gerrard. He never really got a chance in the first team under Malky for some reason.

In a weird kind of twilight moment, my football manager experience (not this years) pretty much mirrored Malky regarding Gerrard. My first action upon getting the Cardiff top job was to transfer list Gerrard. Cue months of him going to the press telling them I'm mistreating him, refusing any other offer that comes his way and demanding an extortionate buyout on his contract. In the end the only way I managed to deal with him was banish him to the reserves for the rest of his contract. I couldn't play him because his performances were damning, but I couldn't get anyone to buy him either because of his attitude.
So yes, in the well known rule that football manager is very similar if not identical to real life, Anthony Gerrard is a c**t.

Exactly, it is crap journalism! Gerrard fell out of favour because he didn't perform on the pitch and was too vocal off it.

“That was explained to everybody. It was explained to Anthony Gerrard and Darcy Blake what was expected of them fitness-wise and the standards they had to meet to be good professionals."
That says it all really - about both players.
