The result has woken the undead on CCMB and they are looking for blood.
It's like the Walking Dead over there.

Strangely enough they taste of chicken... So much so that I've developed a brand spanking shiny new range of cooking sauces... 'I feel like Crayon tonight'

I'm also considering 'I can't believe it's not Crayon', 'Crayon the margerine for men' and 'Crayon'....

I am happy to stand my ground that the team selection today was an insult to the FA Cup and an insult to Macclesfield.
I agree with you on this.
Football is a form of entertainment; all the punters who paid to watch the game did not see it billed as "Macclesfield v. Cardiff City Development XI".
I don't think the FA should insist that teams play their strongest side, but there is a moral obligation by the clubs to do so.

"Selling Goods and Services under False Pretenses"
It's not just that my "Sounding like a cracked record" for this weekend is that whilst resting players sounds like an intrinsically good thing to do, there is no quantitative evidence that deploying the reserves in one competition enhances the performance of the team in another.
There is also a subtle difference between resting players and resting the entire first team and playing the development squad.
Two shots on goal - we were very poor yesterday; the cherry on the cake being that Macclesfield were relegated from the Football League last season.
This must be up there as one of City's Poorest FA Cup results. Still, MM ensured a World Wide Audience for his dalliance.
Ah Well! Let's try and move on!
