I think MM has done a brilliant job at City. But how successful has he been in the transfer market, particularly with regard to big money signings? Vilikonja, Kim Bo-Young, Jordon Mutch - all players with tremendous potential but as yet have not made a significant contribution to our success this season. On the other hand Maynard was beginning to look good when he was injured and Noone has been excellent. I'd be interested in other posters views, because any players he buys in the January transfer window will not have the luxury of a settling in period and will have to hit the ground running.

Malky doesn't quite have the golden touch when it comes to signing. Mutch will come good, Kim will get games on squad rotation... I really don't know what to think about Velikonja but could be a right off. Noone and Maynard will be City greats
Malky has to go low risk in January which means for the quality and calibre of player we need right now to push for autos will come with a premium price tag.

Mutch is a good player and was struck by an injury so that's not Malky's fault. Kim is a quality player but it is a seriously big move to go from the standard and type of football he was used to before to the Championship, and also the cultural changes. He is more one for the future.
Velcro has a lot of potential but I think his outburst may have cost him dear. And I back Malky on that. You can't have rogue players.
