4 points from 3 games is 1.3 average a game, if that average continued it would leave us with 60 points at the end of the season, 16th last season. Sorry to be a data geek on you but yeah, that quota is bad IMO.

92 points, league winners, but it's irrelevant to the point I was making. 4 from 9 specifically isn't good enough, but that doesn't mean we won't win every game from here on in. As I said in staying optimistic but I don't feel we should become complacent and say 4 from 9 is good going, cause its not.

I'm bloody worried. This can't be a rebuilding season again. You have to be first out of the traps. We may have 'better' players than in previous seasons but we still can't defend, can't score enough goals because we don't know what to do with the ball when we've got it.

But last season there wasnt enough options for malky and I thought thats why 451 was standard but after the last 3 games I am wondering if he has a plan B.

Ill get worried when there is 10 games to go and we're 6 points of auto's.

We now have the same 3 game record last years Champions Reading began with.

Any club can put on a late surge as well. As long as we do enough to keep up with the pack then we can launch out a Mobot sprint finish to claim an auto place.

A late surge is always better than an early surge and then collapsing. Collapsing late gives other teams confidence in the important part of the season. Surging at the last breaks their confidence which is exactly why Swansea, Norwich and Reading all got high scoring wins towards the end of the season.

Plus it bodes well for us if we go into the playoffs with form and by that I mean great form.

I think it's been proven many times that you do not have to be first out of the traps. Both by our own later season capitulations and the likes of Reading and Sunderland.

Also you are saying we can't defend, and score goals, we have scored 3 in 3 and kept two clean sheets. Don't get me wrong, I am disappointed how we have played so far, but it is silly to judge over 3 games.
