Or at least the rumours of a Spam Ham Man return are afoot on the other boards. Er why would VT let him near the club?! Utter rubbish!

I really hope he doesn't return in any capacity. As upset as the rebranding made many people, it was Sam's sycophants that nearly drove me away from the club. If he comes back he'll bring his 'inner circle' back with him.

I think the club are trying to establish if they owe him ANY money. He's been offered £10,000,000 cash but turned it down. Can't see why he would when VT doesn't seem in any rush to get rid of him.

I'm with Kamuza and Arkay, we are some of the majority that stuck with the club despite the rebrand. I'm not sure how many of us would still be so tolerant if Tan proved to care about us as little as bring Sam back would indicate.
Saying that though, I still believe this is a ridiculous rumour spread by the KCB cretins desperate to prove they still matter.

Most likely you're right Red. This rumour pops up once every two or three months.
I don't really want to speculate about the Langston and the VT-Sam thing, or even any of the finances as it is just that - speculation. I'd much rather wait for facts to come through before passing judgement and THEN issuing EXECUTION ORDERS

I think Sam was only offered honorary president for life or whatever the title was because they knew he wouldn't take the sum on offer but it showed the supporters he wasn't here for the club.
I think this will be resolved with an 'undisclosed' settlement that will probably be for a lot less than he's asking for.
One thing is for certain, Scam Ham Man was never here for the sport. He was here for the kickbacks. And if the council refused to deal with him they all knew something about him.
