First topic message reminder :
Just watching a telly programme about Claridges... What's the poshest hotel you've ever stayed in, eaten in, been thrown out of....
Mine's a three way toss up between The Wynn, Las Vegas, The Boot, Aberdare and The County (RIP), Ebbw.
I've eaten in Claridges at Ramsay's restaurant, we ordered the 7 course tasting menu at 10:30 at night... Blotto... It cost an arm and a leg and the only thing I remember was that I pissed myself laughing when my missus complained that her 'basil was bruised'... Still to this day not sure whether that was a euphemism

I’ve accumulated enough points through hotel stays with work to get freebie trips to the Intercontinental hotels in Rome, Geneva and London. Theo Randall’s restaurant in the latter is very good.
The Royal Horseguards hotel in London is pretty swish too.
Randall's italian at the Intercontinental on my 'to do' list
There’s an Italian restaurant called Semplice near New Bond Street that is even better than Randall’s gaff in my view.
If you like seafood, give J. Sheekey in Covent Garden a try.
