I am finding charlotte church quite irritating on QT. Just banning on about the levison enquiry and how badly her family have been treated by the press. This is surely a woman who has courted public attention, played much of her life in the public eye. And benefited from this status. Much of what was covered in the enquiry is illegal and as such should be dealt with by the police. I feel that just like politicians, we might not get the press we want, but we certainly get the press we deserve.

I was going to say how much I agree with your last sentence but that would imply that I don't concur with your Church annoyance. So I'll just say, well said.

The phone hacking was disgusting but that was never legal.

The ramifications of the Scottish bullying story were truly awful but why would people buy a paper that denigrates dead children? If that paper thought its readers would be turned off by the story they'd never have run it.

Yes, so much of what went on was illegal - the real scandal that should have been investigated was why it wasn't investigated properly in the first place, but the police have got off pretty lightly in the inquiry.

I find Charlotte Church pretty irritating most of the time tbh.

She's not as chubby in real life as she seems to be on the telly.
