Do you -

A. Follow both teams, keeping an eye on formation, tactics, off the ball play etc

B. Only watch the City players and take little interest in the opposition.

C. Just follow the ball.

D. Single a player out each game and keep an eye on him.

E. Talk to your mate about what was on telly last night or how pissed you got last Saturday, occasionally glancing up when the crowd gets noisy.

F. On the telly under the stand.

G. I'm more of a rugby fan really.

Somewhere between B and C for me. I have tried to work out the nuances of the game but when the centre forward ends up running down the wing and the holding midfield player gets on the end of the cross into the penalty area to score it all gets a little confusing.

I do manage to work out what's happening when the wingers swap wings and notice that something different has happened if Marshall appears in the wrong penalty area in the 93rd minute with us a goal behind How do you watch football? 692773407

I tend to try A. but like Toastie, I find it all a bit too much, so end up just following what City are doing.

Sometimes though I make an effort to watch a player, maybe a new signing or one that's been getting a bit of stick on the MB's.

It's quite interesting then to read other fans opinions on said player.

This Sunday I propose some RBMB homework. Everyone has to choose a player and then post their findings after the game or the next day.

Bagseye David Marshall. cheers

Afraid not, Arkay is going off the grid for the next month. All will be revealed tomorrow and as soon as Arkay stops talking in third person...

Who's he?

He is probably just the stuff of fables and legend though the story persists that one day he may actually reappear and be our striking saviour firing us to glory and the promised land.

The story continues that his elusiveness has been down to a lack of toughness to cope with the rigours of the championship. Though word has it that he has made great strides in this area i understand that Malky is having problems in getting him to clear that one final hurdle.

Losing the Alice band.

Some say if you say Velikonja three times into the mirror... You will have wasted several seconds of your life that you won't get back and depending on the amount of spittle generated forming the myriad of syllables in Velikonja you may have to get the Mr Sheen out

Back to the question... C with a smidgen of A... Sometimes I look at the sky in an afternoon game... Especially if it's pretty.. or there are seagulls... or drizzle or even the threat of rain

I try to be all A but I'll have a bit of D. One game last season I paid particular attention to Andrew Taylor and how often he used his right foot. I kid you not, the ball didn't touch his right until the second half when he made a very good interception of a deep cross.
