I've just watched the latest Academy game on Cardiff City Player and had to switch it off before the end because it was so irritating.
The commentary sounded as usual as if it was done by a young lady who had just woken up and told read this. I could put up with that but there was also a banal music soundtrack played all the way through which almost drowned her out. If I go to a game I don't want to hear music played all through the game so why put it on a commentary?
Enjoyable rant over - any other subscribers on here agree?

I'd give you a temporary ban if I could Rhys, but I can't so I won't. Plus, I've never seen highlights of an academy game myself either so...

You guys can be his honorary family but unfortunately for him he doesn't get rid of us (real family) that easy.
Yes Rhys you have let us down there, although if you had watched you would have suffered the poor commentary also.
I support more coverage etc for women's football and women working in the professional world of football but if you are going to insist that a female reads the commentary for academy games you need to find someone who sounds interested/knows what is happening on the pitch. It sounded like she was reading something and couldn't see the highlights/match she was rant over talking about.
