I'm a big fan of Noone. I was really excited when I heard we were after him again. Wigan had scouted him and been interested and they tend to uncover gems. Fortunately we took the plunge and we will get the benefit from it. Definitely a massive threat with the ball at his feet

After the first 10 minutes they'd decided to double up on him and with the attacking threats we now have from everywhere that alone will create goals for us.
Loved his display today

Noone was excellent today as was Smudger, they are going to be a right handful for any full backs this season. If they keep that sort of performance up then Kimbo, Conway, Cowie and even Bellers are all going to have to up their games.

An incredibly debut. Really gave the impression he wanted to be at City. MM could have unearthed a real gem in Noone.

What an exciting player, full of pace and trickery and you could tell, he really wanted to perform well on his debut, gonna be one of the star players this season without a doubt.

He's just the type of player that the team has been crying out for.
It's a shame the keeper saved his shot after that run from the edge of the City penalty area in the first half.
I thought Smith played quite well too.

THIS. What a debut goal THAT would have been!

Makes you wonder what might have been had we managed to sign him last christmas. Might he keep Bellamy out of the side?

On current form yes. If come the Leeds game, Bellamy is fit I'd have him on the bench and play the same team as yesterday with hopefully Turner back in the side. What an impact sub Bellamy could be at this level!
