Is it too early to call a game "massive"?

As it stands fans are pretty split in terms of performances... there's those who believe four points from two games is a good return (myself included) but I can't help but notice those who are saying this season is going the same was as last year.

If we win on Saturday it will silence those minority of fans. What I would like to see is Malky make a couple of changes - The Malaysians are allowing him to bring in some players, so let's use them.

Good result for Brizzle midweek, which will lift them for this. That said, I expect City to walk this one, which would give us a launch pad if we are going to do anything this year. Defence needs to keep a tight rein on Jon Stead though.......

I can understand the pessimism, really. I mean we were lucky against Huddersfield, and when we're tipping ourselves for the championship we should really look to be taking three points from a team with very slim chances of making even the playoffs.

4 from 6 is a good haul, yes, but it's against what should be for us easy opposition. If we take 4 from 6 against Bolton and Leeds for example, that's a great taking.

Don't get me wrong I'm not a pessimist, I'm satisfied with how we have done. But saying we're in great form from our last two results is like Araenal declaring themselves premiership contenders after taking 4 points from Aston Villa and Wigan. The Bristol game is indeed massive, and can make me massively optimistic all over again. But right now, I'm content with how we are doing.

Brighton & Huddersfield will finish in the top eight. It's impossible to be playing like Barca after a handful of games.

Yeah don't get me wrong I wasn't saying they were bad results, I'm just saying getting carried away declaring us to be amazing is getting carried away. When we want to get an auto spot these sort of results should be expected as a given. It's matches against straight rivals I'm more interested to see.
