I think what he's being charged with in Sweden amounts to two counts of rape.

The whole case is dodgy. Some are saying he's been set up because they had nothing on him otherwise.

I reckon the women will not take any further part in the investigations even if they could be found again.

Apparently the only law he has broken is one requiring him to wear a condom. There is no question of him having had anything but consentual sex. It's about him not having worn a condom. That is why we're spending all this money to get him extradited.
If he'd worn a condom there wouldn't have been all these wikileaks all over the place.

This 'people deserve to know everything' claim circulating this thread is very dodgy. Should we know our country's financial revenues and losses? Yes, of course. Should we know politicians personal expenditures? Again, yes. Should we have information important to the protectectioj of the country public knowledge? Al-Qaeida would LOVE that.

Besides, we have to face it that some people are stupid. Born completely retarded. America's ammendment allowing every man to posess a rifle for protection makes perfect sense if you don't read into it. But then you look at the people that gun down 50 people with a machine gun. Not everyone is 'normal', and those people given certain information and rights are very dangerous. That's why there's secrets.

For every massacre in the US there is a guy who has, thankfully due to being armed, stopped criminal activity occurring.

However that never gets reported because good news dont do that well. Shock factors and massacres and terror attacks do and keep people tuned into news channels for updates on the latest break for hours. Its ridiculous but the hard truth.

You never hear the success stories in the media much anymore, just a heap of frigging negativity, just like Dave Jones' formations.
