Is that the doc of the Brazilian hostage taker? Saw it last week, it was good so your recommendation is excellent but not useful. Recommend me an effin' movie (or documentary) 833362651 Recommend me an effin' movie (or documentary) 1525230823

A couple of football documentaries that are worth a look…..

In the Hands of the Gods - story of five young British freestyle footballers who attempt to make their way from London to Buenos Aires with no money, using only their football skills and their charm, in the hope of meeting their hero, Diego Maradona.

Once in a Lifetime - the rise and fall of the New York Cosmos, the football team that brought Pele to America in the 70s. Also features Italian legend Georgio Chinaglia who was brought up in Cardiff.

Tried watching it once but gave up about halfway through, got bored of it. I must be the only person in history that didn't enjoy it.

It's a relatively short feature documentary about four sprinters and their preparations for the Olympics. Shot around London in a quite stylised way, I found it quite interesting learning about the kinds of things they go through and really how bloody hard being an athlete is.

I have total respect for these guys now especially as I was lucky enough to go to a Q&A with some of them there and heard first hand their levels of commitment.
