I think he's an incredible player. He's 33 and has had a history of knee injuries, but he is seemingly still just as fast as he was 10 years ago. Can anyone else think of any other winger bombing down the wings at that age?

Given the form and commitment he has shown at the Olympics, I think it will be an even bigger coup if City manage to land him. He will have come back into the thinking of a number of other managers, I am sure Craig Bellamy 635981802

If this competition has proved anything he's exactly what we need in midfield, someone capable of not only supporting the attack but providing brilliant balls into our front men. His goal wasn't pretty, but his assisting passes have all been superb. That one onto Sturridge for the lobbed goal was magic, and now we have our own pacey poacher in Etien the pair of them could work absolute wonders.

I think the pass for the lobbed goal was from Cleverley............but I do think he did provide the cross for the Sinclair tap in........

Wrong goal, my bad. I was only watching the highlights this morning as well, shame on me. If i could deduct myself flair, I would.

EDIT - his cross for Giggs is obviously therefore a much better example of my point. Let's sign Cleverly too so I don't look so stupid, huh? Craig Bellamy 692773407
