I want to post things that make sense to me, and I felt I was misundersttod on the other boards, so here's to a new start and looking forward to all the nostalgia that lies ahead.

A lot of things don't make sense to me - why does a toaster burn toast on setting 4 but still have a 5 and 6 setting?

Surely crumpets take less time that toast 
Mrs P just suggested for frozen bread which also makes sense (I didn't tell her that).
