David Marshall back in goal for Hull yesterday, losing 1 - 7 at home to Spurs.

If ever there was a player transfer that was so totally wrong........

That won't have done his confidence much good. 635981802

I saw that. I think Jakupovic might be out of contract and on his way (I could be wrong) so perhaps they brought Marshall back in as he will be the number 1 next season?

Loved Marshall when he was here but always had a sneaking feeling that Heaton was the better all round keeper - his penalty save against Gerrard in the Carling Cup final was a worldy.

Agreed, Heaton is a quality keeper. I think SteWells always said the same, that Marshall was the inferior of the two

I just voted up your message because you agreed with me. That won't have done his confidence much good. 2294057153

I've voted up yours as payment for this gesture and because I often forget this feature

I liked Heaton a lot.
Marshall had some really dodgy parts to his game, but he'd pull of a spectacular save or two, and it'd all be forgotten. Heaton rarely let himself get into the position to need saves like that, imo.

I remember getting laughed at when I suggested we should sign Kasper Schmeichel too.

And now Pep Guardiola wants him, probably for £60mil
