Soooo, guessing you all heard the news from yesterday:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41483358
Without doubt disappointing (especially it's a measly calf strain - a CALF STRAIN!) but not the end of the world as for the first time in aaaages, Wales seem to have greater strength in depth than before.
For me, the key has to be the Georgia game. Win that and we have momentum for the home tie against a fairly average (although, undoubtedly fired up Irish side). Draw or lose and suddenly the pressure is back on.
It's a really tough prospect but not impossible and one I've taken a half day off work in order to psych myself up for it.

Here's a convenient summary of what everyone else needs to be doing too:

I agree that the Georgia game is the key to puuting massive pressure on the tarmac layers next Monday. It's also important we get to Russia to test ourselves against the might of Iran, Japan, South Korea and Saudi Arabia - who have already qualified!

It's now all about globalisation of the beautiful game and making money.
Well, that might just be enough Gloves, depending on results in other groups.*** G L O V E S *** wrote:Confident we can beat Ireland without Bale, but can't see beyond a draw in Georgia.

This Welsh team has the capability to surprise, so I wouldn't write off a win in Georgia. Bale has been off-colour recently and the last two results were ground out by the "lesser" players.
