With hindsight, I can now appreciate the amount of desperation there must have been to get players off the payroll because of FFP and we did lose a couple that would have been useful.

Like quite a few, never given a chance to prove themselves. Seemed endemic throughout the Club at the time.

Burgstaller was a major error on the club’s part. Given an incredibly small amount of time before being shipped out yet is clearly a quality player
