It's confirmed but he said he doesn't want another job, he just wants to travel and enjoy himself.

Did the job for palace, how would he manage there for a full season? Someone will be knocking on his door in 9 months time. Maybe even palace.

He's clearly angling for the City job when they reach the Premiership next season.

I wouldn't want to spend my career narrowly avoiding relegation, stabilising a team after many seasons of struggle then being sacked because you don't set the team up to play attractive football. He should be loaded now as he was always paid well and made lots from the bungs etc
