Peroni. Overpriced and very, very average. Better than Carling of course, but then drinking the foul smelling liquid at the bottom of the toothbrush glass is preferable to drinking that rubbish.

Any lager, I'd say. Tasteless and far too cold - made to throw as much down ones neck in the shortest possible time. And having a lager-belly is just embarrassing.

Beer should be dark and served at room temperature, with no fancy widgets.

I very much an ale drinker, but I do like a bit of lager and cider if it's a good one. The thing with lager is that it's 90% image and 10% flavour. There are some great Czech, Belgian and German lagers most pubs stick to the dire carling/fosters/carlsberg.

As for beer being warm, I agree with a dark ale, but a pale ale or an IPA tastes great when it's slightly chilled.

Abso-flipping-lutely my friend. There are some fantastic ciders around, from the widely available Aspells, Westons, Addlestones and Gwynt y Ddraig to the proper stuff found on farms all over the UK. Pisses all over Strongbow/Bulmers/Magners etc
