Insults aren't working so let's try a football thread.
Kadeem Harris looks certain to feature as he was at the pre match presser and Pilkington is almost certainly out.
I think Fabio should replace Connolly and after shipping five last week there's probably a case for Manga.
Probably little chance of our centre midfield changing despite it underperforming weekly.

Just heard a rumour that Fabio is to be sold so he won't play if that's true!

Hopefully, the Jan transfer window will show what Slade has in mind. Clearly, he is not happy with the type of player that is in the squad at the moment, but I do worry about what sorty of team we will end up with.
So far as tomorrow is concerned, I would like to see the following.....
No chance of that and I think City will do well to get anything from tomorrow's game............0 - 1 Brentford.

Marshall
Brayford Manga Morrison (capt) Fabio
Noone Gunnarsson Whitts Harris
Jones Burgstaller

I fear Burgerstall may be in the recycle bin along with Guerra awaiting collection. Problem is that it's almost impossible to tell if that's the right decision as we've hardly seen them play. It seems to be a plan to get rid of all Ole's signings or it could be because they are all on inflated wages.

It may well be that the objective is to cut the wage bill, but given the shocking lack of anything being demonstrated by the present first XI, I am sure that Burgstaller is worth a try. He was a full and regular international for Austria when he joined City and there has been no suggestion that there is anything wrong with his attitude.
In the games he played, to me anyway, he showed that he had good stamina, even if the rest of the squad wasn't fit and a lot of variety to his game. He certainly knows where the net is.
If your suspicion is correct and Fabio may also be on the way out, then it seems to me that it is the foreign players that Ole bought that Slade doesn't want.

Just watched the Burgerstall clips and I can't see how a big strong midfielder with a good shot who can finish could possibly fit into our team.

We also have a quality Spanish striker who scored goals in La Ligue who can't displace our non scoring strikers.
Another highly rated Norwegian international midfielder who can't even get on the bench and a Brazilian full back who offers more than centre back Matt Connolly with the best right back in the division losing his effectiveness at left back.
I'm beginning to despair

You may be right TDA. The common denominator is - Johnny Foreigner.

I do hope that there are no racial undertones here, just an inability to work with anyone who is not a donkey.

Changes! Fabio for Connolly. Manga for Morrison. Harris for Kim. Macheda for Jones.
Last week's scorers pay the price!

Wow! An acknowledgement that last weeks goals weren't from 100% gilt edged open play......two set pieces and a tap in from a mistake.
If Slade couldn't be more adventurous against Brentford, then Lord help us. What's the bench?
