A good 3-0 win for the DVP v the wurzels last night with goals from Velikonja, Kadeem Harris & Danny Johnson.
The team set up with Kim and Harris on the wings and Kimbo outstanding according to all reports - possible Pilkington replacement?

Pilkington is a huge loss so far as the development of a balanced side is concerned. Fortunately, the quality available in City's squad should come to the rescue and there a number of excellent options for the wide left position.
I would like to see Fabio given a go there and he has undoubted skill & pace. As a full back he has defensive frailties, but as a wide midfielder combining with Brayford makes sense to me.
However, I think Daehli deserves a go ahead of the rest. Unfortunately, the Ravel experiment isn't working for a number of reasons, so I'd let him drift. Kimbo, on the other hand, can do it at this level, so put him on the bench on Saturday and give him a run if the opportunity presents itself.

Yes, agreed TDA.
Kimbo has proven in the past that he has bags of talent for this level and should be given another chance - at least on the bench.
I've said for a while now that Fabio might be better suited playing left midfield - depends how brave Slade is feeling - I think he will play it a bit safer and give Ralls a chance - a chance that, in my opinion, he does deserve.

I like what I have seen of Ralls. He is still young, but his season at Yeovil has added grit to his game. He needs a run in the side to establish what his best position is, but he reminds me of Joe Ledley, but with more pace and skill.

Talking of wingers, Kadeem Harris has signed a new 2 year contract taking him up to 2017 which sputs an end to rumours about him being released.

I'm sure he has been at the club for three years, not two and a half, being the only purchase in Malky's first Jan transfer window. He was on a three and a half year deal, so almost out of contract.
What this does is create the situation where a fee would have to be paid if someone wanted him. A two-year extension for a 21 year old is not exactly a major vote of confidence in his long-term value to the club.
I'd say the jury is still out on Harris so far as Slade in concerned.
