But wouldn't we rather the experience of Hudson over a united youngster?

Hudson was having a really, really difficult time dealing with Rhodes. He wasn't fast enough and he was getting overpowered consistentlyin the air, it was actually a miracle Rhodes didn't score, looking back. A youngster would at least allow us to not be outpaced quite as much. You are right in that I'm always suspicious about loaning your defenders though - they're like fine wines, don't you know

They get better with age, but don't travel well, so are best kept in a cool dark place...................
