Can't help feeling for Rangers after all the shite we've gone through in the last few years.

I agree with the first division clubs though to be fair. I think its time the SPL brought in a 2 tier system of 21 clubs in each. That would mean 40 games instead of the 38 they have now. It would be a much better format.

All they need to do now is find an excuse to kick Celtic out and they'll have a competitive league.
I wouldn't give them tuppence for the TV rights though.

Should just let Celtic and Rangers join the English League Two as add on clubs. Any Englishman who says they dont want Scottish teams in the English system is an idiot considering there are numerous English teams in lower league Scottish football who play in their system for travel and cost reasons.

It's a great idea, which Rangers would probably be open to now. But would Celtic really want to start again as such, from a lower league?

If Celtic were to be put into League 2, most of their players would be sold to Championship (maybe the odd Premiership) clubs. Which would mean they would in effect, have to start again which I imagine is the reason why they wouldn't want to join. Assuming the FL would let them in that is.

sounds as if Rangers (Newco / Club 12) are royally screwed at the moment.

They may not even get invited to play in the SFL Division 3!

Even more players have come out to say that they wil not transfer over to the newco. Davis, McGregor, Lafferty and Ness are all eying the exit!

You have to feel for the rangers fans - they haven't done anything wrong but are suffering big time. I remember what it was like when Ledley walked away for nothing. It's always gutting to lose your assets with players going on a free.

I do feel for the fans. It must be rough when there's very little they can do about it.

I do have a morbid fascination with just how low Rangers will go though. I always find it intriguing to see a changing of the guard and wondering which teams might be able to take advantage.

The fans could always start their own team and join the parks league like some of our lot want to do ...
