Is Kim Bo-Kyung under-performing?

I've put together a short article on Kim's past and his performances so far this season.
Do you think he's underperformed to date following the expectations of pre-season, or was too much asked of him?
Mackay was right to start Mutch against Chelsea, but should Kim come back into the side in place of Gunnarsson at Norwich?

May I refer the honourable gentlemen to this post, what I wrote on Sunday......
It is unfortunate that the mistakes Gunnarsson does make get highlighted far more than the unglamourous job he does for the team. I think he has grown as a player alongside Medel and will continue to be a valuable member of the squad. However, I have said on many occasions that I feel he needs to be rested on a more regular basis.
We have a good nucleus of "solid" midfield players and really any three of them could play with Whitts & Medel, whom I would start in every game.
Mutch finally shows promise and let's hope that he stays injury free.
However, the player that I feel hasn't developed as hoped is Kimbo. He did take time to learn the way of the Championship, but when he did, what a player we had!
His playmaking choices so far this season have been poor at times and he does tend to lose the ball too often......far more than Gunnarsson. Nevertheless, both are quality players in my opinion.

No, I wouldn't start Kimbo ahead of Gunnarsson on Saturday, I'd play them both, with half an eye on a run out for Noone, who has been under-used.
The most intriguing thing I found when writing this article was Kim's goalscoring record in Japan. He scored 15+ in a season-and-a-half, and has scored a few for his country too.
If he could add goals to his game alongside his defensive displays he'd be a cracking player.

He is a cracking player, but he is playing at a much higher and physically tougher level than ever before. I think that is well illustrated by the way he is often muscled off the ball and into a heap of Far-Eastern promise.....

He was kicked to bits and went off injured in the Devpt game on Monday.Arkay Dubya wrote:I would love to see Noone at least given a chance - last Saturday would've been ideal for him.

With Kim I think a short period on the bench will do him no harm as he is coming across as a bit of a look at me dribble with the ball aren’t I good? Quality player that will come good eventually, just needs to start producing decent crosses to go with beating people and not try and take on the whole team.
