They failed to include Stephen Dobbie in their squad, despite him only signing in the summer and Owen Garvan left out as well to which he responded “@garvalution: I'll be here longer then he will...trust me”.

Tremendous lack of planning and foresight. Their squad does include three ex-City players though, Darcy Blake has disappeared off the radar. possibly to the same gulag as Dots

Holloway has effectively admitted "panic-buying" Dobbie and others at the start of the window, as he didn't know what calibre players Palace would actually be able to attract.

darcy blew hot and cold. he did however do a pretty good job of marshalling saha in the semi-final
