i tend to the view that real madrid put the pressure on bale to stop playing. whilst no one man makes a team a guy of his obvious quality is bound to make a difference to the final outcome of the match

Sad if national teams are bowing to unjustified pressure from the big clubs.
To be fair, I don't think Bale is 100% fit yet, but I had to laugh at Coleman's reasoning of using mind games to phase the Moldova manager by putting Bale on the bench..........

Nothing to do with Madrid, they would have wanted him to play as much as us. He's had no pre-season afterall. Coleman opted to put him on the bench to "scare" Macedonia, well done Chris.
