Sadly, it's not Messi but it is Issac Cuenca.
Who? Well exactly. Here's the scoop and a handy video to fill you in.

Yes, but it also still insists we're involved in a race to sign Odemwhinger.......

Not a very prolific scorer according to his wiki
Also with Velcro saying he wants to leave maybe we should offload him

Things are looking increasingly bleak for Maynard with Campbell's rise to power and the arrival of Cornelius and probably Finnbogason. It's a shame, he's a smart player with plenty of skill to make an impact. His injury might of ruined any chance of his career resurging.

Does everyone else here know more than me in terms of what position he has actually been played in lately?
As far as i can see from scouting reports on the web he is far more winger than striker. It could be Malky is not after another striking option but either an alternative option while he presumably tries to land Montero or even as well as him on the basis that Cuenca seems to be equally adept with either foot so can play on either wing.

Well I think we do need four decent strikers to compete and we would have Cornelius, Campbell, Maynard and Bilbo (?) with Mason and Gestede going on loan and Velcro departing permanently. Maynard wouldn't have to leave.
And Cuenca is a right winger who is comfortable on the left wing or as a striker...but he is first and foremost out wide!

That's pretty much as i see it. I would be happy just to see one of Cuenca or Montero sign but if we were in for both of them and landed them then i think wide options of Bellamy and Cuenca (right) and Montero and Noone (Left) wouldn't be too shabby at all.
In those circumstances i think the first surplus to requirement players might be Smith and Conway rather than Gestede and Mason although Malky might just want to keep Smith's experience around in the background this season.
