Cardiff City Supporters Unit.

To bring forward a red future for Cardiff City FC. The group will be set up purely for fans who just want to move on, enjoy the football and work together for a good cause. There will be no membership fee like the Trust. Any money made will be all through choice if you want to pledge support. The more donations the better the flags and so on.

No anti rebrand affiliated aims.

Aims to work with the club in several areas;

1. A new modernised Cardiff City badge for the 2014/2015 season - dragon as main emblem
2. Donations for a Cardiff City flag to be put up - will be suitable to enter ground - feature red/black/yellow
3. To work with the club for better kit designs in the future to avoid this seasons fiasco

Any other reasonable aims as well that are obtainable.

I will be setting up the website for this supporters group soon to receive donations for the flag. I need other members on board in the Cardiff area as well to help manage things if possible to get the flags and so on done as I am in the Aberystwyth area so will be focusing on the oversight of the group, the website and marketing.

If you're interested let me know. The reason for this group is I believe the Trust are living in a world of delusion, have unreachable aims and are asking people to pay for the privilege of having their say. Supporters should be able to have their say for free, by right and as a supporter of the club.

Thanks.

Good luck with this Cardiff City Supporters Unit 1525230823

Although it does seem that we have a different supporters club for every day of the week currently.

I would love it if we fans could all just get on and work together (sadly, that doesn't like it's going to happen for a while. Sad)

Also - what happened to that other group that you tried to get off the ground recently?

The Ninian Stand was a compromise group, not for the fans but to petition the club for change. I dont think this is the way forward either as it just continues the division, doesn't unite the fans and could cause more issues down the line. The petition got over 400 signatures, the shorts are back to black and the kit doesn't look bad in all fairness. With a better badge it'd be quality so im thinking to get a group going to get the majority of fans, I believe, who just want to get on with things.

A good fans group doing things that can be achieved to improve the match day experience is needed. If you look at the likes of Dortmund they have brilliant going on's all because of unity and being organised. Another club can do the same if they put the effort in, of that I have no doubt.

If we have a red/black/yellow flags then I think they will be let in the ground no problem without fuss from the stewards. I am not going to continue dwelling on the past as it just causes more conflict and gets us no where. Time to move forward and its better to do that united than fractured as a fan base.
