Just watched it. One of the greatest episodes in TV history, arguably the best. This series tops The Wire hands down.

I hate to be 'that' guy, but this season in particular has been disappointing compared to the books. Sure I get the fact they've cut parts out because of time issues, but it's the the first experience I've encountered in which they take what actually happened and change it completely. If it was slightly confusing or complicated, they dropped it and replaced it with 'game of thrones for dummies' material, and that's disappointed me. Just because something's being converted to tv, it doesn't have to be dumbed down.

The level of detail gone into the books cant be converted to TV. Still the best show by some distance and even the character changes have been brilliant and its worked well in its own way. Last nights episode was on another level. Dont hate to be that guy, its nice to have met someone else who's read the books.

It's not the lak of detail that bothers me, it's when they change things completely. Minor spoiler free example for anyone reading this is Arya didn't act as Tywin Lannister's servant, she worked for Roose Bolton. Doesn't make much difference in the long run, but it still bothers me Game of Thrones 692773407

I haven't read the books but have enjoyed the TV series.
Caught up with episode 9 of the latest season last night......I wasn't expecting that! Shocked

The Borgias is back next week - another favourite of mine.
