Somebody who's usually reliable was saying on Twitter earlier that the Portuguese media are reporting that Pereira has already got the job.
He's also alleged to have confirmed he's leaving and is now bookies' favourite.

If true, it would be reassuring to hear that Malky had declined to be interviewed..........

The smart money is definetely on Pereira, im not too concerned. I agree with the sentiment that Malky going public on his dismissal of an interview would greatly help his cause.

Sky Sports sources are saying this morning that Alan Stubbs, Phil Neville, and David Weir are to be interviewed for the Everton job but Pereira is still Favourite and Martinez second favourite.
I agree with earlier posters that all Malky has given out are meaningless statements but has never really distanced himself from the job.
I've also been irritated by that retard Micky Thomas pushing Malky for the job on Radio Wales on a daily basis, saying how perfect he would be and that he should get it.

It's interesting that Martinez originally stated he would make a decision on his Wigan future next Monday. He has now stated he will make this decision today. Seems he doesn't want to miss out on the Everton, Stoke or Malaga jobs.
