I've spent a jolly hour or two sanding and varnishing the bathroom floor...as my knees were creaking alarmingly following yesterday's unwise exertions, this has done them a power of good.......

my elbow is still effin sore, still that did not stop the mrs taking me shopping so she could buy new shoes and handbag for tuesday.
cooking sunday lunch for daughter and son-in-law elect, then we are taking it to their flat for dins as anne is still unwell with tonsilitis. feel sorry for the girl as when she develops it she becomes quite ill. think she is going to pluck up courage to go to the docs and have them removed.

i've not quite got moving yet today. Walked home feeling fine and woke up late morning feeling ok too but during my 5am waking and trip to the toilet my head was spinning like crazy and i kept walking into the walls.
Not feeling hungover now but just laying on my bed listening to music and keep drifting off. I think i might be finally awake for the day now though

Thanks for asking. It's holding up so far. I will take the strip off on Tuesday if everything is still fine and hopefully that should be it. Oh except for the advice of the St John's Ambulance people that i should check with my doctor to make sure my Tetanus jab is up to date (i don't think it is )
It feels fine though - the cider had more of an adverse affect on my head than the fence did and even that has worn off

Priceless slapstick, fair play Toastie.
There were at least 2 comedy falls in your 5 minute cameo that Harold Lloyd would have been proud of.
Glad there was no major harm done.
