It'd be ACE to get the title... Hopefully Saturday... If not the following Saturday with a merciless 6-0 defeat of Bolton... Now that would be grand day out We'd have to smuggle Colin back home under cover of darkness... Or drop him like a broken concertina at the door, ring the bell and run away giggling....

Some of us might say quite justifiably too, Dave. Whilst I am as happy as the next bloke today, there are still episodes from this season that I still can't quite fathom out why MM adopted certain tactics or changed them during games. Reflected on the way home last night that the disappointing loss of 2 point the previous Tuesday meant that we weren't celebrating at the end of the game as Champions, not just as having gained promotion. Still, like most long suffering City fans/supporters, after the disappointments of recent years, last night was a much better/happier feeling which I just want to last for ever. So hats off to MM and the boys they 'have done us proud'.

Some of his tactics and selections didn't appear to make sense to the fans, but credit to MM, he gave something a go, persisted for a few games, then went back to the drawing board and tried something else. Not many would do that
