Midfielders
1: Kimbo
Apparently Kimbo excels in the position Smith was so poor in tonight. We'll have to wait until his contract expires and he gets a less "pragmatic" manager to find out. He'll probably go to Swansea and be a star.
2: Cowie
No, not in the hole. We've seen that, it was horrible. But in a midfield three with Gunns and Whitts, Cowie would have covered ground, played simple safe passes and made life difficult for Leicester
3: Ralls
Forgotten man (or boy) Ralls is exactly what we need now: a hungry, quick terrier in the middle. Ralls would have won the ball and moved the ball
4: Mutch
Equally forgotten man Mutch would have hovered between Leicester's back four and midfield. He'd have made himself available at the very least
5: Kiss
Does anyone think Leicester's midfield would have strolled through a middle patrolled by the Sliding Slav?
Forwards
1: Rudy
Long balls would have been a useful tactic with Gestede on the field
2: Mason
Intelligent running beats no running in my book every day of the week
3: Helguson
He's have bloody tried
4: Fred Keenor Statue on some skate boards being pulled around by Campbell
Campbell could have used the statue to get in the way of the defenders who followed him around all game
5:Velcro
Fred on a board is more likely

I'd like to add myself to the list as I play right wing.
Also my two dogs, who while lacking any knowledge of the rules of football never stop running, are brilliant tacklers and take an advantage from the fact holding the ball between your teeth is actually perfectly legal.
Not ideal, but all better choices than Smith last night.
