Worked around the area for many years, but always avoided Cheltenham the week the Paddies came to town..........they love the drinking, then the singing, then the "foighting".......without fail.....

I worked round Gloucester and Cheltenham some years ago, the Gold Cup week used to play havoc with our traffic survey programmes - our survey 'windows' are tight enough as it is, and the Gold Cup week caused such traffic chaos it was hopeless trying to survey when it was on, so knocking another chunk out of our survey window. Always avoided it like the plague!

yeah i know, but i dont think we are stopping in the town centre, we just go straight to the races, and back.. just wondering if u are going to the races?!
