Appalling spelling there. We're going to miss him that's for certain. Hopefully Nugent will step up and play a big role in the last few weeks here.

Replacement captain? Favourite has to be Bellamy considering he got it after Hudson's departure Sunday, but as much as I admire him I still can't help but feel he's too hotheaded to be a captain, too quick to see the red mist. My pick would be Marshall. I don't think goalkeepers make ideal captains as they restricted to a very small playing area, but his vocal nature would suit the role.

Bellamy all day for captain.............he's a lot more mature than he used to be.

He has picked up yellow cards for mouthing off this season, and he's too quick to start throwing derogatory gestures at the referee. He's gotten better, but I still don't think he's a captain yet.

Gunnarson is the Icelandic skipper and has the on the pitch passion and commitment for the job if Huddy is out.

I like Gunns as captain but how about Taylor? He's got the experience, he's under no threat for his place and he seems a bright, likeable fella.

Strangely that tweet no longer seems to exist and his last status now reads 'Waiting on this scan...'

We simply do not have enough cover at the back, so this is a tad worrying but at the same time I don't blame Malky for not signing players for the sake of it or paying over the odds in January

I'd forgotten that Hudson missed the Peterborough game. I was blaming the defeat on me being in the posh seats. I don't feel so bad now.

The posh seats? You were in the away end, then?Kamuza wrote:I'd forgotten that Hudson missed the Peterborough game. I was blaming the defeat on me being in the posh seats. I don't feel so bad now.

I think we have reasonable options from a playing point of view but it was frightening how the organisation and leadership deserted us when he was missing against Peterborough.
Let's hope that was just a bad day at the office and things will be different this time whatever the personnel starting.
