Great pics as usual from Jon Candy, looking at those pics just now I was really struck by the thought of how far the club has come since my days as a junior bluebird. Terrific new stadium with a brilliant statue commemorating a time when we were once great, built at a time when we're hopefully starting out on a new era of greatness. Exciting times at Cardiff, the likes of which we haven't seen for over 60 years.

Good lord, yes! A long, long way from my first game sat in the rusty Grandstand at Ninian Park watching us lose 1-0 to a hapless own goal in the basement division.
This season seems utterly surreal and I feel it might not have reached it's full quota of oddness quite yet.

Did everyone else know then that the Cariff City Sign alternated between red and blue? This was news to me
Or is he having me on with some photo shop work?

Alternates like a good'un. Pretty sure I've seen it white sometimes as well.

Goddammit you're right Rhys!
And I was going to immediately jump on that plane, train or automobile bandwagon until I looked up his profile and realised he died at the tender age of 43 and immediately got a bit sad
