Read an article this morning that said the shortest managerial job in the UK was Leroy Rosenior who lasted 10 minutes at Torquay in 2007. I don't remember that for some reason. Anyone know why it was so short?

Other short stays included Dave Bassett at Crystal 'the flair' Palace for 4 days and Kevin Cullis and Micky Adams at Swansea for 7 and 13 days in the same season.

The ten minute management job is true. Leroy became manager of Torquay after the old manager quit. Though by freak change the takeover of the club was completed simultaneously, and the news owners had also chosen a new manager straight away. Inevitably the board won the argument and their man got the job, and poor old Leroy didn't even get to see his office.

Kenny Jackett is pretty short. Brian Flynn might be shorter though.

I've got the wrong end of the stick again haven't I?

Yes, he talked about that on FLS quite recently didn't he?

I know Claridge managed Millwall for all of about 24 hours too.

No it's a make of clothes mate. He's a Cardiff fan so he made a special t-shirt for the carling cup final and that was his design. Bloody plastic. Where was his design on a cold wet Tuesday down Exeter?!

If he was there, he was probably sitting in the grandstand unlike the rest of all fans, when talking about this era, who were sitting in the Grangend without the roof getting soaking wet
